Hi, I’m Archie
I’m a postgraduate student at the University of Southampton, with a bachelor’s degree in Archaeology from Durham University. I’m passionate about why we live in the way we do, now and in the past, and how we express this through the English language.
I’ve taught young people studying English literature and language, and trained young volunteers in archaeology, from beginning a dig through to interpreting the finds. My undergraduate dissertation combined a literature review with first-hand historical research, and received two national awards for its original contribution.
